3 Simple Tips for Throwing a Great Vision Board Party

Bianca Lambert

Last night three of my favorite people (Elaina, Kristian, and Mia) and I headed over to General Assembly in Atlanta for their Vision Board Party! If you aren't familiar with GA, they are known for their tech, business, and design classes. They offer classes full-time, part-time, and workshops.

I have to say, my experience at GA was full of laughs and inspiration! Creating a vision board proved to be a little more challenging than I thought. I really had to think about my goals for the year and find the perfect words to match the vision in my head.

If you want to get your goals down on paper in a creative way-a vision board is a perfect way to do it! You only have to do three things:

  1. Set a date
  2. Invite a few of your favorite people
  3. Ask each person to bring:
  • three magazines
  • a pair of scissors
  • their favorite beverage

As the hostess, you provide:

  • cardstock or paper (8.5 x 11 or larger)
  • glue sticks
  • your favorite beverage

Now you have your very own vision board party!

Remember: Don't take it too seriously. This should be a fun time for you and your friends!
