Mae B #FunFriday Recipe : Blood Orange + Peach Sangria

It's Friday. It's Friday. It's the end of the week and the last day! We made it! Now, it's time to relax + enjoy the weekend. One of my favorite springtime cocktails is Sangria. I mean it's has wine + fruit, so that means it's full of antioxidants making it kind of good for you. At least that's what I tell myself.

I have made a yummy + easy Blood Orange + Peach Sangria that is a little different from a traditional sangria recipe. I mixed three of my favorites: wine, Italian soda, and peaches. 

What You'll Need:

1 bottle of white wine (I went with Riesling)

1 cup of blood orange Italian soda

3 ounces of brandy

2 thinly sliced peaches

2 thinly slices apples

2 ounces of simple syrup (optional)

a glass pitcher

Directions:

In a large pitcher combine white wine , 3 ounces of Brandy, and a cup of blood orange Italian soda. Stir until the three are mixed well. Italian soda does fizz so if you're looking for a traditional tasting sangria using less is a better option. It's all about preference. You can also add simple syrup if you like a sweeter tasting sangria. 

Now, add sliced peaches, apples, or any other fruit you'd like.

Refrigerate sangria overnight. Serve over ice.

Now, it's ready! Enjoy.
